As more and more Malaysians now accustomed to the ”new normal” and borders opening, there seems to be a little glimmer of hope somewhere at the end of the tunnel.
With the latest Budget 2022 presented by Malaysian government recently announcing abolition of Real Property Gains Tax (RPGT) and RM2bil allocated for housing credit guarantee scheme among others, slowly but surely the property market is gaining back its momentum.

Let’s look at when and where property seekers are most actively searching.
When To Focus Your Listings
In our previous article, we observed property seekers being the most active on Wednesdays.
Looking at PropertyGuru.com.my internal data from 1st October to 28th October 2021, Mondays and Tuesdays both share the highest search volume.
Below graph also shows relatively high activity across the weekdays from Wednesdays to Fridays.
While the behavior on the days of the week might have changed, the time of the day property seekers are most active on our paltform remains the same. We see an upward trend from 10AM that remains relatively strong till 10PM with only slight dip between 6pm-7pm.
